In two separate incidents this weekend, a Croat and two Greeks were prevented in their attempt to smuggle out old Macedonian coins, jewelry, mosaics, icons...
In both incidents the individuals did not report their valuable archeological artifacts at the border. The Greeks were apprehended by the border police at the Bogorodica border crossing. The artifacts were confiscated, both suspects will make an appearance in a Bitola court.
All artifacts were also taken away from the Croat at the Tabanovce border crossing, he will also make an appearance in a Skopje court.
