ANCIENT SHIELDS FOUND IN PRILEP VILLAGE

Parts of bronze shields were found in the village of Bonce near Prilep. The shields are about 2200 years old and are believed they've belonged to soldiers of king Demetrij, one of the Heirs of Alexander's throne. Two shields have the old Macedonian sun on them.
MD: A great find for Macedonia! Everyday we get more and more proof that we are the descendants of the Ancient Macedonians.
