IMPORT OF VEHICLES NOT OLDER THAN 4 YEARS

The second-hand cars older than four years cannot be imported in the Republic of Macedonia as January 2007. The novelty has been introduced by the Ministry of Economy in the framework of the new regulations on motor vehicles.
The current limit of imported second-hand vehicles was 10 years. The new regulations also foresee that the homologation be carried out in the Metrology Bureau instead of the Ministry of Economy.
The local car importers welcomed the new regulations.
