GREECE REFUSES MOC DELEGATION TO ATTEND CHRISTODOULOS FUNERAL

Greece refused to allow attendance of a delegation of the Macedonian Orthodox Church (MOC) at the funeral of the Greek Archbishop Christodoulos.
The explanation of the secretary general of the Synod of the Greek Orthodox Church (GPC) says that such a decision was prompted by the fact that the Macedonian Church is "canonically unrecognized church."
"MOC's request has been received on time, however, GTC does not recognize this Church," says a written notification sent to MOC.
Macedonian Foreign Ministry (FM) expressed regrets for the decision of the Greek Church authorities.
Archbishop Christodoulos, 69, died last Monday from liver cancer.

I think we Macedonians do not need to go there in case thay beg us!And this is humiliation for me I whant my Macedonian Church to send tham demand in wich will write that thay are DEVILS not Christians!!!!!

Macedonians from more than 100 villages were gathered in the village Krpeshino near Lerin (today's Florina), in the presence of Greek nationalists, the Lerin Bishop and priests, and were forced to give the following statement:
"I promise in the eyes of God, people and the state, that I shall from today on stop to speak in the Slav dialect, which can only provoke misunderstandings with the enemies of our country, that I will always and everywhere speak in the official language of our country, the Greek language, in which the Holy Gospel of our Jesus Christ was written."

Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s! Even if Athens recongised the country under its ROM name, the MOC officials cannot share a place with the official representatives of the Orthodox churches because 'cannonically' it has not been recognised by the Orthodox body. But, as brothers in Christ, they can attend amongst the faithful.

It is a shame ! I dont expect anything new anyway.I think that GREEKS -GEEKS or whatever their new english name is are the worst people on the planet!!!
