THE TALENT FINALLY DECIDED FOR MACEDONIA
Sports.
Swedish Macedonian footballer, Goran Slavkovski finally decided to play for Macedonia. Goran, one of the biggest European talents at the moment was born in Sweden starting at FBK Balkan football club and was bought buy Italian Giants, Internazionale Milan last year.
He made his Serie A debut against AC Siena in May last year and thus becoming the youngest ever to play for Inter at the age of 17.
Last year the media was talking about a war going on between the football federations of Macedonia, Sweden and Croatia(because of his Croatian manager). They all wanted him to play for their national teams. Finally it seems that Macedonia has won that war allthough he had played for the Swedish youth team in the past.
“I am Macedonian and i want to play for Macedonia” is what Goran have said. And that’s is going to happen! He will join the Macedonian national team under-21 in the next upcoming friendly match against Montenegro on the 25th of March and if Inter approves he will also play against Albania on the 28th.
Goran will be paying a visit to Macedonia next Sunday where he will talk with Prime Minister, Gruevski and with the Football Federation.
MD: Great news! He is an excellent footballer, this is a victory for Macedonia. Let’s hope he will be playing in the first National team soon, together with Pandev, they form an excellent duo!
