The manifestation "Memories of Boris Trajkovski," an annual manifestation observing the birth of the late president Boris Trajkovski, took place Monday at the "Arbored Walk of the Greats" in the Butel cemetery.
The event is part of the program by Butel municipality, dubbed "Days of Butel Municipality."
- The current developments in and around our country are another late confirmation that President Boris Trajkovski was ahead of his time and that his political moves were part of deeply well-though out programme with long-term goal for the welfare of Macedonia and its citizens who were always at his heart, Butel municipality mayor Petre Latinovski said in his address.
Prof. d-r. Vlado Popovski referred to memories and truths about President Boris Trajkovski emphasising that he was the main figure of peace in the events of 2001. In 2001 President Boris Trajkovski faced many challenges and was under great pressure to agree on military operation but he did not yield because he knew that the future of Macedonia is in peace, Popovski added.
