GOVERNMENT TO INTRODUCE STATE LOTTERY

The minister of economy, Trajko Slaveski presented at today's press conference a government's decision to introduce state-organized games of chance, the income of which would be used for projects of public interest and support of the civic associations.
The Decision envisages establishing a joint stock company with 100 percent of stake held by the state, which will organize lottery games, instant lottery, sports betting and TV Raffle.
The procedure on founding the company is under way.
MD: These types of games of chance are common in many European countries. The government will have an exclusive right to organize these games.
