ARCHEOLOGICAL EXHIBITION IN SKOPJE

Archaeological items excavated at Kale fortress, dating from the prehistory up to the Ottoman period, will be displayed at a grand exhibition in the Skopje Museum on December 8.

A huge number of items made of iron, jewelry, weapons, coins of different periods, parts of frescos, luxury ceramics and other findings were excavated during the seven-month research at the Skopje fortress.

Archaeologist Dragi Mitrevski, who is the exhibition author and excavation manager, said that the goal is to present research results before the public.
