GREECE BANS MACEDONIA MONEY TRANSFERS
National.
Greece has banned the transfer of money from, and to Macedonia, local media report.
All funds from the Western Union and the Greek National Bank have been blocked, according to the reports.
Macedonian citizens who are in Greece at the moment cannot receive money from Macedonia, nor send money to Macedonia.
"This morning I wanted to transfer some funds to Skopje via Western Union. Actually, their Western Union is the same as Macedonian Postal Services, except here they are Greek Postal services, they are official,” Ivan Ivanov, a Macedonian citizen in Greece, was quoted as saying by the MINA news agency and A1 TV.
"I was told that since yesterday, all bank transactions with Macedonia are forbidden. Of course, they didn't say Macedonia. After that I went to Nacional Trapeza, then to the Greek National Bank and I got the same response," Ivanov said on Wednesday.
Western Union in Skopje acknowledged the problem and the complaints they received in the past two days, saying it stemmed from the fact that the documents that people fill out noted the name of the country where funds are sent to or received from.
The move is only the latest in a series of steps taken by Greek authorities towards banning Macedonian products. This was accompanied by an increasing public boycott of Greek ventures and products in Macedonia.
MD: And the ridiculous story continues...

Western Union = Greek postal service?
He! He! Where do you get this information?
Sometimes, it’s very easily to separate propaganda from real news. Just visit the Western Union web side and see if it’s Greek or not!
About Stopanska Bank and Vero..
Very few people in Greece will get disappointed if you boycott Greek companies. Most of us don’t care about them and many of us will be happy to see the traitors business going down!
Unfortunately, the most disappointed will be on side and on the people and families that work at these companies.
However..
If our government bans all money transfers between our countries, it’s completely wrong and I don’t agree.

I am a person in Australia in a high profile industry, I think I should start my campaign of boycotting Greek imports into Australia. Outside of Athens Australia has the next largiest Greek population. Does that mean these Greeks are traiters? See if that will hurt the Greek economy.

The majority of people in Macedonia can not afford to buy in Vero supermarkets.
I was on holiday 2005 I noticed manly tourist in the supermarket because they could afford to buy from Vero supermarkets.
It was a culture shock they only bought thing when they needed for example no one had soft drinks or beer at home the kids would diaper to local shop and come back with the cold drinks.
If there boycotting Greek businesses it’s not just the local people it would be the Macedonians returning from neighbouring country for holidays a lot of people work in Germany, Sweden etc.
There the people who's dollars are missing.

If you want to boycott Greek products, for any reason, it’s your choice. I can also find several reasons to boycott products from several countries.
Of course these Greeks are not traitors. Most of them are economic emigrants from the previous decades and yes, this will hurt THEIR economy (mostly). I am too far from Australia to understand how this will react to the Greeks that live next to you.
Greeks can also behave similarly . There are plenty of them in Austrialia, US and other countries. If we start boycott each other then “Macedonia” will probably lose and I am sure that you are aware of that.

According to the latest report in Greece, the people owe to the banks more than 250 BILLIONS EURO!! Divided by 11 Million citizens of Greece, that means 23000 Euro PER PERSON!!! About 40 % of them are late with paying back the loans!! Plus we all know very well that Greece owes MILLIONS and MILLIONS to EU!
So, my advice would be: Greeks stop acting as if you are something big and scary! You are NOTHING and NO ONE in Europe. It is clear as a whistle that you are blocking Macedonia and the other neighboring countries on the Balkan, because you are scared from our progress and you want to keep us away from success! WE ARE NOT AFRAID OF YOU. The only difference between us and you is: the Macedonians know how to live, even in poverty, YOU DON’T! And that is the crucial difference, believe me!

The report you are mentioning is very true.
Now try to search similar reports about others countries and you will realize that modern economy works that way. Just check the US (the country you love so much) and then tell me about people’s dept!
We are nothing to Europe? Well.. we are not big for sure.. but we are big enough to block your entrance to NATO and EU.
You said that we block you (and others?) because we want to keep you away from success? Excuse me but which other country we blocked? We helped Bulgarians and Romanians and we are also helping the Turks to become member of EU!
So, I assume that your argument about your being scared of your progress means is no more...
We don’t want you to afraid of us. We only want to get the message. For some reason you think that we are afraid of you. Of you and your temporary so good allies (USA). My friend, we don’t.
