Macedonia will get a new parliament by June 22 at latest, and the new government is to be made up by August 6.
The new parliament should assemble at a constitutive session in 20 days after the elections have ended. If no session is held within the 20-day deadline, the constitutive session is to be held on 21st day upon MPs initiative.
Within 10 days after the parliament has been constituted, the head of state is to entrust the mandate to election-winning party to form a government.
The law gives the prime minister-designate 20 days to submit to parliament the programme and the list of nominated ministers.
The parliament president should convoke a session to elect the new government within a 15-day deadline. The parliament elects the new government with majority votes.
