BEST FROM CANNES & BERLIN AT MANAKI FESTIVAL

Philippines-French thriller “Butchered” (20,00h) and German “Everyone Else” (22,30h) will be screened Thursday within the official selection of the 30th “Manaki Brothers” cinematographers’ festival.
“Butchered” of director Brillante Mendoza and cinematographer Odyssey Flores won the best director award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. It will be preceded by short French film “Cold Chain”.
Croatian short “Party” will be screened before this year’s winner of the Berlin Film Festival “Silver Bear”, Maren Ade’s “Everyone Else”, with Bernhard Keller as cinematographer.
The day will begin with short film “Sinner” and the gala-projection of “Ward No.6” at 15,00h, followed by selection “New Visions” at 18,00h, presenting French-Swiss-Serbian-Dutch co-production “Ordinary People”.
