HOW TO MAKE IT KNOWN THAT YOU ARE A MACEDONIAN IN THE US CENSUS 2010?

The data from the Census in 2000, reports that only 38,051 Macedonians are in the U.S. People of Macedonian Heritage in U.S. need to MAKE IT KNOWN that they are Macedonian on the 2010 Census, so that we show growth, and an accurate picture of how many Macedonians are really living in the U.S.
Below is the total number of Macedonians by state that made it known that they were in fact Macedonian according to the Census in 2000.
Please MAKE IT KNOWN that you are Macedonian! There is no better way than the 2010 Census! Stand up and be counted!!
WHERE? Question #9 from the first form of the US Census forms and Question #6 from subsequent forms for additional members of your household.
HOW? Mark the "Some other race" box and write in Macedonian below it. Also, mark other races that you identify yourself with.
Remember...There is no other spot on the US Census form where you can make it be known that you are Macedonian. Here is a sample of the US Census 2010 form -
More detailed socioeconomic information previously collected through the decennial census will be asked annually of a small percentage of the population through the American Community Survey.
If you receive one of these surveys, make sure you write in Macedonian under "Question 13 - What is this person’s ancestry or ethnic origin?" in the more detailed section of the questionnaire. Here is a sample of American Community Survey form
