MARRIOTT COMING TO SKOPJE

Marriott international company will build a “Marriott Skopje” hotel at Macedonia Square, an investment worth EUR 37 million.
Aleksandar Ivanovski, general manager of Develop Group and Erwin K. Carlton, chief manager for development for Europe of Marriott Hotels will sign Friday the agreement for building of the hotel.
The hotel, which will be build at an area of 20.000sqm, will have 180 rooms and 16 suites and one presidential suite, two lunch bars, spa centre and garden at the top floor.
The opening of Marriott Skopje is scheduled for 2013.
US Ambassador Phillip Reeker, Deputy PM Vladimir Pesevski and Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski will attend agreement-signing ceremony.
The construction of the hotel in Skopje is first investment of Marriott International in the Balkans. The company has 3.400 hotels in 70 countries.
