"DOES IT HURT?" IN ROTTERDAM

The debut film of Aneta Lesnikovska, “Does it Hurt?”, which is the first dogma film on the Balkans, will compete for awards at the Rotterdam Film Festival, the Netherlands, which is the biggest world festival for the independent film. “Does it Hurt?” will run for the prestigious “Golden Tiger” award from January 24 to February 4, 2007.
Lesnikovska, who lives the Netherlands herself, Amsterdam actually, expressed her happiness that her film has been selected for the festival, considering it's a huge success.
“We had some difficulties during the filming, but it was really worth it," Lesnikovska said.
“Does it Hurt?” is the first film on the Balkans and the 73rd worldwide, which was shot according to the principles of the “Dogma 95” movement of Danish author Lars von Trier. It is a false documentary, which depicts the modern life of the Skopje youth. The cast includes Irena Ristic, Igor Dzambazov, Dejan Lilic, Visar Viska, Daniela Stojkovska, Bosko Bozadzievski, Miliana Dodevska, Kire Gjorevski, Nikola Ristanovski and Toni Mihajlovski.
