MACEDONIAN-ALBANIAN MEETING ABOUT OHRID LAKE
National.
The Macedonian-Albanian committee for the protection of lake Ohrid will have a meeting today in the Albanian city of Pogradec, at the Albanian side of the Ohrid lake.
The meeting will be opened by the Macedonian minister of ecology, Imer Aliu and his Albanian counterpart, Ljufter Djuveli.
At the meeting they will also talk about the procedure of implementing the Albanian side of the lake under the UNESCO protection and to get the status of a world heritage site.
MD: Cooperation is needed with Albania for the future of the lake, also with the trout, Macedonia has some laws on fishing them(although no one gives a damn, but that's another story), Albania has none.
