Festival of urban arts “Art Generator” began with video-program of authors from Macedonia, Bulgaria and Albania in Stip’s “Bezisten” on Thursday evening at 20,00h. The festival’s second edition, organized by center for performing arts “Multimedia” from Skopje, will last for four days.

“Art Generator” is a place for dialogue among Balkan communities, stressing art as medium of confrontation, communication and influence on social issues. The festival will include different contents from the fields of film, performance, music, as well as open and public installations, workshops and lectures.
Topic of this year’s festival is “Manifest on Wheels: Chiasm of Artistic Mobility”. Video-productions from Slovenia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Romania, Poland, Albania, Turkey, Bulgaria and Macedonia will be presented, along with two interactive workshops.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture, “Pro Helvetia” and the Youth and Sport Agency.
