A summit of the Southeastern European states is to be held in Ohrid on April 20th, the Macedonian Utrinski Vesnik newspaper writes.
The summit is on providing long-term conditions for energy supply and on agreeing the regional policy with the EU’s energy strategy.
The summit is titled “Long-term energy stability – prerequisite for economic development”.
Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski is to host the meeting. The Presidents of Romania, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia, and the chairman of the collective presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina have already confirmed their participation.
Bulgaria will be presented by its Vice President, the newspaper adds.
