PHOTOGRAPHS BY DIMESKA EXHIBITED IN NY
Culture.
An exhibition of photographs by Iva Dimeska has opened at the Macedonian Cultural Centre in New York this week. Entitled “One,” the show includes 12 plotter colour and white-and-black photographs.
Showing her fashion photographs in an unconventional manner as wall paintings, Dimeska directs her works to their legitimate art character. She suppresses the commercial in them but does not avoid the meaning of the term fashion.
The exhibition of 45 plotter photographs by the author has been realized at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje.
Dimeska graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, Art History and Archaeology Department in 2004. A freelance photographer, she has specialized in Paris and New York.
