All attractive hotels in Ohrid are fully booked and a part of the private accommodation capacities are reserved for the New Year's holiday, Makfax's correspondent reported.
The local authorities are expecting tourists to swarm in Ohrid this year, for which aim they have
planned a rich program for the season's holiday.
Since Thursday night, Ohrid's central square and the surrounding parks have been adorned with appropriate New Year's decoration, with a 9-meter high glowing Christmas tree as a centerpiece. As much as 300.000 denars have been set apart for this year's decorations of the town.
The majority of hotels offer two- or three-day arrangements at prices ranging 120 to 150 euros, while the restaurants and coffee bars charge 20 to 70 euros per person for the New Year's Eve celebration parties.
