WELCOMING THE NEW YEAR WITH SNOW

Since yesterday morning the whole country is under snow cover, which on the mountains is almost one meter high. The Hydro Meteorological Directorate informs that morning in Krusevo there was 22 centimeters snow, while in Mavrovo and Popova Sapka the snow cover reached 34 centimeters. However, having in mind the snowing intensity it is expected these numbers to increase rapidly.
Yesterday Skopje was the coldest city in the country with measured three degrees under zero, and Kriva Palanka with minus one degree. Gevgelija was the warmest city where at 11.00 the temperature was three degrees celcius.
MD: Again happy new year! Its looks wonderfull with the snow, it gives the country a sort of magic touch.

It's a beautiful country around the year, but in the snow in the mountains, it is especially magical. Please pass the word around: more visitors would go there if the hotel prices came down...
