NEW ARMTROOPS IN IRAQ

A ceremony to mark the deployment of ARM's mechanized infantry platoon within Iraqi Freedom, will take place in Ohrid on Wednesday.
The main task of the squad, comprised of 36 professional soldiers and senior officers, is to secure the coalition force camp in Taji. The platoon of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the ARM took part in the NATO-led ISAF mission in Afghanistan.
The ceremony will take place at Mihailo Apostolski Barracks in Ohrid. Major General Zoran Dimov, the Commander of the ARM's Joint Operational Command, as well as other guests are expected to attend the event.
