THE BOYS OF '09
Diaspora.
We came upon this very interesting article on the Macedonian Patriotic Organization website about the adventures and thoughts of a group of Macedonian young boys from Aegean Macedonia who took the big step to the United States in 1909, to work on railroads in St.Louis.
The story is written by Mitchell Pedroff, about the experiences of his father, Mitcho, who was one of the boys.
