NEW ROUND OF TALKS SCHEDULED FOR 24 MARCH

The new meeting dedicated to the differences on the name between Athens and Skopje will take place on 24 March in New York, Greek Radio Sky reported, citing unofficial information.
Greek and Macedonian negotiators Adamantios Vassilakis and Nikola Dimitrov will take part at the meeting hosted by the mediator Matthew Nimetz.
After yesterday's meeting in Vienna, Nimetz said that he was more optimistic now, adding that he expected from the both sides to acknowledge the risks that might arise from failure to reach a solution.
MD: These will probably the last talks before the NATO summit in Bucharest where Croatia, Macedonia and Albania are expected to be invited to join NATO, if Greece will not use it's veto.

«The Department has noted increasing propaganda rumors and semi-official statements in favor of an autonomous Macedonia, emanating principally from Bulgaria, but also from YugoslavPartisan and other sources, with the implication that Greek territory would be included in the projected state. This Government (of USA) considers talk of Macedonian "nation", Macedonian "Fatherland", or Macedonian "national consciousness" to be unjustified demagoguery representing no ethnic, nor political reality, and sees in its present revival a possible cloak for aggressive intentions against Greece. Yes, things will change. We will call ourselves Republic of Macedonia and Greece will change their name to Former Ottoman Repubic of Greece.

Dear Ones, I was born in Skopia in 1981 and since I live here in Macedonia, although I never before 1992 heard anything about a Macedonian language or Macedonian culture. I always new that our language is Slavobulgarian and our culture is a divided between the different nationalities that live in Macedonia.
I grew up knowing that we are Slavs, Bulgarians and Albanians.
What changed after 1992 and we became so arrogant and irrationalists? I am so sad about what is happening in our country!
We have our culture and our nation, that we all know that is New and also that we don't have any connection with Ancient Macedonia.
What happened now?
Our dignity is to be US! Not somebody ELSE!
