SKUPI RECEIVES RESULTS FROM GEOMAGNETIC MEASUREMENT

The Museum of the City of Skopje, which carried out a project, Implementation of New Standards and Technologies in Archaeology in Macedonia” with a team of British archaeologists last year, has received, as donation, the results of the magnetic measurements of the archaeological site of Skupi, performed with a non-destructive method, as well as most of the accessories and computer equipment used during the measurements.
The equipment received will enable the site creation of its own digitised database that will include the received results of the measurements, which allow a simplified method for detection of structures under its surface.
