The government elaborated at the last session a legal framework for construction of wind mills in Macedonia.
Government's spokesman Ivica Bocevski informed today that the government tasked the competent ministers to work out detailed instructions for building of wind power stations and to publish it at the Economy Ministry's website.
"The move is aimed at facilitating the procedure of wind mills construction in Macedonia under the prescribed terms," Bocevski said.
He confirmed that investors are demonstrating increased interest for construction of wind power stations in Macedonia.
Bocevski also said that elaboration of a feasibility studies for a number of regions was under way. The goal is to determine the wind quantities and establish the terms for construction of wind parks.
The spokesman pointed out that the wind mill generated electricity producers will be bind to give advantage to the domestic market over the foreign ones in electricity supply offers.

Warning: these windmills do make a low, persistent, rumbling noise that fills the background for many miles around and becomes noise pollution. Hum-hum-hum-hum-hum. So dont buy a house near them and dont build them on the Greek border! :-)

I would rather the noise pollution from the windmills rather than the propaganda pollution from the northern greeks with their 80 year old history of ethnic cleansing and brainwashing.

I know what you mean about those northern Greeks; and their football is crap (exept for Aris FC of Thessaloniki of course!). Ionian and Aegean Greeks are much nicer. But Athenians are the worst of all.

Yeah the Aegean Greeks play best in their home ground in Turkey not in the new crappy grounds in northern greece.
