DRUMMER ALEKSANDAR PETROV IN FRANCE

On occasion of May 24- Day of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Macedonian percussionist Aleksandar Petrov will hold a concert alongside several renowned musicians from different parts of the world, in town Moret sur Loing in France.
According to Petrov, his goal is to acquaint the French public with some of Macedonia’s traditional music richness. Petrov lives and works in France, familiar to the Macedonian public from his concerts with quartet “Bace”, including Vasil Hadzimanov on keyboards, Teodosij Spasov on pipe, and Bashar Kalife on percussions.
Besides Petrov, who plays the drum, the concert will also present renowned pianist Bojan Zulfikarpacic, Macedonian violin virtuoso Gazmend Berisha, former guitarist of “No Smoking Orchestra” Nenad Gajin, as well as several guests – Bulgarian Krasen Lutzanov on pipe, Macedonian clarinetist Nenad Elmaz, Serbian accordion player Jasko Pamic etc.
