Ontel, the second operator in landline telephony in Macedonia announced on Monday the launch of services, saying it would introduce new services and prices lower by 60%.
Arising from internet provider On.net, owned by Telecom Slovenia Group since 2006, the new operator will function as a separate brand, with services and products within landline telephony.
Ontel starts with an offer for free-of-charge connection and free-of-charge unlimited calls within Ontel network. The calls to mobile telephony will be cheaper 15-20%, whilst the in-country calls and international calls will be 60% cheaper.
The price of initial package of services, available at Ontel's selling sites as of May 12, is set at 990 denars. The package includes 300 free-of-charge minutes of talks with users if the first landline operator throughout Macedonia.
The services of the new operator are currently available for the residents of Skopje only. The services will be available to other cities soon.
