28 SCULPTURES TO BE PLACED IN SKOPJE

A total of 28 artists have been selected to create sculptures intended to ennoble Skopje’s center and the City Park. The list of authors is diverse, including founders of Macedonian contemporary sculpture, sculptors of the “middle” generation, current professors at the Faculty of Fine Arts, up to young artists.

The selected artists are Natasa Bozarova, Damjan Gjurov, Tome Bundevski, Blagoja Cuskov, Tome Adzievski, Zoran Kostovski, Saso Popovski, Valentina Stefanovska, Zoran Tosevski, Zlatan Trajkov, Angel Nacevski, Branko Jaksic, Angel Dimovski, Vlado Pavlevski, Aleksandar Ivanovski-Karadere, Saso Sazdovski, Darko Dukovski, Elena Dukovska, Riste Stankov, Dimitar Filipovski, Grozdanka Kinikova, Vasil Nikolovski, Ivan Ivanovski, Nina Ninevska, Antoni Maznevski, Iskra Dimitrova, Sinisa Noveski, and Simeon Arnaudov.

According to Ministry of Culture State Secretary Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska, the sculptures will be set at the quay of river Vardar, street and square “Macedonia”, and the City Park.
