STUDENTS CALL FOR VISA FREE TRAVEL IN EU

National.

A 50-member delegation of Macedonian students will mass in front of European Commission's headquarters in Brussels next week, and later hold meetings with MEPs.

The event is part of the project "Visa?! No Chance!!!". The initiative, supported by Slovenian Embassy to Macedonia, has been confirmed by 17.000 students through petition organized by the Group of Youth Associations and Student Organizations.

"Slovenian Embassy will help the students to meet with MEPs Aloize Petrle and Jelko Kacin in Brussels," Slovenian Consul Tomazh Trobentar told Makfax news agency.

Slovenian Consul Trobentar alongside Slovenian Ambassador Alan Bergant met today with a group of students at Slovenia's embassy.

Trobentar added that meetings will be staged in Ljubljana with notable public personalities as well as with representatives of Slovenian Foreign Ministry's Directorate for Visa Issues.

Earlier, the country's youth associations organized a conference with the ambassadors of EU member-countries accredited to Macedonia.
