Hypo Alpe Adria halted construction of a hotel at the Ohrid Lake coast, Total portal says. The company cited withdrawal of a foreign partner from the project due to unfavorable economic trends.
"We are not giving up building of a hotel in Ohrid. There are still possibilities for its realization, however, we will have to wait for better times for investing," a company's representative said in a statement given to Total.
According to the plan, Hypo Alpe Adria Leasing was to invest 7 million euros in construction of a luxurious hotel in Ohrid.
