The trial on car crash that killed Macedonian pop icon Tose Proeski will resume Monday at Skopje’s criminal court.
The final hearing on the case started a year ago. Gjorgi Gjorgieski, the driver of Tose’s jeep, stands a trial. The trial was postponed for five months as truck driver Slavisa Kuzmanovic didn’t show up in court.
Gjorgieski’s lawyer Silvia Djilvadjieva claims that many dilemmas will be cleared only if truck driver shows up in court to testify.
Macedonian justice minister, however, says it’s up to Kuzmanovic whether he would accept to come to testify in court.
