Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski said The United States of America is the most important global strategic partner of the Republic of Macedonia, in his address before the members of the American Commerce Chamber in Macedonia.
Extending gratitude for the help the USA has been giving to Macedonia ever since the
country declared its independence, Gruevski said that Macedonia
expects from USA to resume its support in the country's Euro-Atlantic aspirations
and prompt integration into political and economic globalization processes.
He underlined that boosting relations between the two friendly countries stands high at the list of priorities of his Government's programme.
"Having in mind Johnson Controls's entry in Macedonia and construction of the AMBO pipeline, we expect from American companies to increase their interest for investments in Macedonia", Gruevski said at the meeting, attended also by the US Ambassador to Macedonia, Gillian Milovanovich.
MD: Allthough the USA is not so favored in the world at the moment, we should never forget the day when the USA recognized us under our real name!
