CRVENKOVSKI TO NOMINATE BUCKOVSKI AS AMBASSADOR IN NATO

National.

Macedonia’s President Branko Crvenkovski has proposed the former leader of the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) and former Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski to become Macedonia’s ambassador in NATO, the Macedonian daily Utrinski Vesnik reports.

Buckovski has not accepted the post yet. He will meet soon with president Crvenkovski.

“I was surprised by the President’s proposal. He said he had consulted with the former President Kiro Gligorov and was going to consult also with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki”, Buckovski said.

MD: We dont think anyone was suprised...
