MIKE ZAFIROVSKI IN MACEDONIA

Mike Zafirovski, Macedonian/American bussinesman, now Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian telecommunication company "Nortel", visited Macedonia yesterday. He had a meeting with Macedonia's president Branko Crvenkovski and visited the Duty Free Zone of Bunardzik accompanied by Macedonia Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.
Zafirovski also presented the programme "Foreign Direct Investments: Strategy and Realization" and the project "Macedonia 2025" to the Macedonian Government which is offered by prominent Macedonians living across the world.
The company Nortel expressed interest for opening offices in Belgrade and Skopje. Recently, the company has introduced its advanced WiMAX platform for broadband wireless access applicable to mobile telephony, television and internet services.
MD: He was very succesfull, working for General Electrics for 24 years and later on Executive Vice President and President of the Personal Communications Sector of Motorola. He was also elected to the Board of Directors at Boeing on October 25, 2004
