MACEDONIA HEADING FOR TIRANA IN FEBRUARY

Macedonia will start off the new year with a visit to Albania for a friendly in Tirana on the 7th of February.
Srečko Katanec's men will use the match to prepare for their UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifier away against Group E leaders Croatia in Zagreb on 24 March. The Macedonians have taken seven points from five qualifiers so far and sit in fourth place in the section.
This will be their sixth meeting with Albania, against whom they have recorded three wins, one draw and one defeat – a 2-0 reverse on their one previous visit to Tirana.
MD: Looking forward to it! It has been a while since we've played. Srecko has been linked with Partizan this week, however he did not want to comment on this.
