GERMANY APPROVES FINANCIAL AID FOR WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM

National.

Germany will provide additional funds for reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems in eight Macedonian municipalities.

To this end, German KfV Bank and Macedonian Ministries of Finance and of Transportation signed a Protocol.

The German Government has already approved EUR 6.14 million in loans for the purposes of the programme "Water Supply and Sewerage System Stage 1".

Those municipalities that will meet the supplementary requirements of KfV will be granted up to 50 euros per consumer.

On the basis of the conducted probe on financial shape and liquidity, the Finance Ministry proposed a shortlist of municipalities to be encompassed in the Stage 1 of the programme, which includes Bitola, Gevgelija, Gostivar, Kavadarci, Kocani, Negotino, Radovis and Tetovo.
