SWEDISH DIPLOMAT AND SOLDIERS TRIED TO ILLEGALY BRING IN KOSOVO CITIZENS

MakFax informs that a Swedish diplomat employed in the Embassy in Skopje accompanied by soldiers of the Swedish contingent of KFOR tried to smuggle five persons from Kosovo to Macedonia.
The incident took place last Saturday, when five members of the Idrizi family living in Kosovo arrived at the Skopje's airport Alexander the Great in three military jeeps along with the diplomat and the soldiers, Macedonian Police informed today. After conducting a check-up, the Police found that the five Kosovars had no entry visas in their Swedish passports.
In order to clarify the situation, Macedonian police officers joined by the Swedish representatives and their passengers from Kosovo, headed back to the Macedonia-Kosovo border crossing of Blace.
Upon arrival, the Swedish diplomat stepped out of the vehicle to discuss the matter with the Macedonian border authorities, when the jeeps with soldiers and Kosovars on board took off and crossed over the border to Kosovo, failing to stop at the checking points. The Swedish diplomat who was left alone at the border crossing was picked up by the Swedish Ambassador to Macedonia later on.
Macedonian authorities notified KFOR about the incident.
MD: The Police are suspecting KFOR vehicles have illegaly brought immigrants trough the Blace border crossing, which is used by NATO forces.
