Democratic Republic of Macedonia and Independent Republic of Macedonia are the acceptable solutions, which are included in the package of the latest proposal of the mediator Matthew Nimetz, Skopje's TV Station A1 cited Wednesday afternoon unnamed sources of the Macedonian government as saying.
The contents of the mediator Nimetz's proposal remains a secret, nonetheless, the Greek media said that Nimetz came forward with as much as five options on the possible name of Macedonia.
The name issue will be the focus of Today's meeting of leaders of the country's four largest parties.
Asked by a reporter whether a referendum is a possible option, Gruevski said his personal stance is that the people should have the final say on the issue.
"It's up to citizens, not the politicians, to make the final decisions. I believe that politicians are not entitled to make decisions on Macedonia's name," Gruevski said.
MD: Acceptable? No! Better? Yes, certainly better than the ridiculous proposals before, but Macedonia should not move a step in this issue.

This name reminds me on German Democratic Republic.
However, better this name than more endless discussions with the greeks. In everyday life the people will just say Macedonia as now. ;-)
