The big cinema hall of “Cinemax” in Berlin was crowded Wednesday evening with film lovers, journalists, critics, festival jury members, who came to see the Macedonian representative at the Berlin Film Festival, Teona Strugar Mitevska’s “I am from Titov Veles”.
The film, shown within program “Panorama”, thrilled the audience. The feeling that Mitevska’s achievement is exceptional was unanimous.
Magazines, program, catalogues and all other representative materials presented the film as “an artwork coming from the Republic of Macedonia”.
Following the Berlin screening, “I am from Titov Veles” will be projected at the Belgrade festival by the end of February, followed by its tour at the Sofia Film Festival.
The Macedonian premiere is scheduled for February 28 in Skopje cinema “Millennium”.
