FRANCE WANTS TO SEE MACEDONIA IN EU AND NATO

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner today voiced support to the Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic bid.
After meeting with his Macedonian counterpart Antonio Milososki in Paris, he stressed that France stands ready to work together with Macedonia on its way to the European Union and NATO.
"We see Macedonia as a friendly country, which serves as a positive example in a tough region such is the Balkans. We discussed Macedonia's aspiration to become a member of NATO, which we support without any reservations," Kouchner said.
Milososki on his part reiterated that Macedonia expects to receive an invitation for membership in NATO from the April's Summit .
"As regards NATO enlargement and the invitations from the Bucharest Summit, we emphasized our expectation to receive one, because Macedonia deserves it," Macedonian Foreign Minister said.
According to the electronic media in Skopje, Kouchner assured Milososki that for official Paris, Macedonia is far too important in terms of the regional stability, to be exposed to the risk of Greek veto because of the name differences.
