HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS IN SKOPJE

The world wide known basketball sensation, the Harlem Globetrotters will hold a 2 hour spectacle at the official opening of the new "Boris Trajkovski" sport stadium on the 22 of May.
According to the organisers, it was very hard to get the Globetrotters to Macedonia, but they've managed to do it. Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski will open the stadium and afterwards the Globetrotters will start their interesting show.
The costs of the new stadium have reached 17 million euro's. There are 700 parking places and 32 places for busses. The object has a capacity of 6.000 seats but an extra of 2.000 seats can be added. The building started in april 2004 by the city of Skopje, but the project was handed over to the state because they did not have the amount of money to finish it.
