VODAFONE AND VIP UNVEIL PARTNERSHIP
Macedonian operator VIP has signed strategic partnership with the world's leading mobile communications group Vodafone, which will see the joint offering of new products and services in Macedonia.
Representatives of British Vodafone and of VIP Macedonia - the third mobile operator in Macedonia - rolled out the exclusive strategic partnership deal on Tuesday.
VIP users will join the Vodafone's global community of more than 520 million customers worldwide. Through partnership deal, VIP users will receive new services, the latest generation of mobile phones and access to Vodafone's international roaming network.
VIP's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nikola Ljusev said on Tuesday that Vodafone's global significance merges with VIP's local expertise in Macedonia.
Vodafone's senior manager Steffen Weill said he was pleased that the company had emerged in another Balkan country.
Vodafone's representative said the partnership with Vodafone will ensure that the entire set of international standard products be available along with unique local services to all VIP users.
The initial joint product of these two companies, to be launched in Macedonia today, is BlackBerry package which includes touchscreen smartphone, software for quick access to e-mail, multimedia contents etc.
