Voters' turnout at Sunday's repeat voting of the election rerun until 13:00h is 25,64% in 15 polling stations in electoral districts 1 and 6, where no serious problems are detected, the State Election Commission-SEC announced.
Incidents have been registered only at two polling stations in Bojane, Saraj municipality. One person threw the ballots away in polling station 2445. In polling station 2446, also in Bojane, voting was halted for an hour after an attempt for proxy voting.
In relation to the voting interruption in Bojane village, MoI arrested A.N. (20) from the same village, employed as driver in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. Criminal charges are due to be brought against him.
Voting at both polling stations is currently underway.
14.551 voters are registered in the 15 polling stations, where election rerun is being held, which is 0,82% of the total number of eligible voters in Macedonia. Polling stations on Sunday will be opened from 07:00h to 19:00h.
