MAN'S HEAD FROM ENEOLOTHIC UNEARTHED
Archaeologists of the Museum of Macedonia have unearthed a number of valuable ceramic items and women’s head figurines and the first man’s head figure at St. Atanasij archaeological site near the village of Spancevo, Kocani area.
According to Irena Kolistrokoska-Nasteva, Advisor at the Museum of Macedonia, it is a figure that embodies our ancestor that did not differ in anything from the present-day population. The figure has some details such as earrings on both ears.
She says the finding confirms a statement that this site together is identical with an already discovered site at Pilavo near the village of Burilcevo, Kocani area and both belonged to the Eneolithic
