OVER 10.000 UNRESOLVED CASES
National.
More than 10,000 court cases heard by the 27 district courts across Macedonia remained unconcluded in the period 1990-2006.
The Justice Ministry is due to hold Friday a working meeting dubbed "Court Proceedings within Reasonable Time" in the Supreme Court. The meeting's agenda includes presentation of data on each court and judge individually as well as discussing the modalities for overcoming the problem.
According to the announcements, presidents and heads of departments (civil, criminal, economic, inheritance, investigative) of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Macedonia, appellate courts and the courts of extended jurisdiction, will take part at the meeting.
MD: This is still a very big problem in Macedonia. It's a big mess, will it ever be resolved?
