OFFICIALS REVIEW NAME PROPOSALS
Macedonian top officials carefully reviewed the proposals put forward by UN mediator Matthew Nimetz. They agreed Macedonians will have the final word Makfax informed.
President Gjorge Ivanov, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Deputy Prime Minister Abdulaqim Ademi, Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki and Ambassador Zoran Jolevski attended Wednesday’s meeting.
Ivanov's Cabinet said in a statement that the officials thrashed out the ideas put forward by mediator Nimetz and held initial discussion on these suggestions.
The top officials also discussed mediator Nimetz's expectation to be briefed in August about the positions of both countries regarding the modalities and possibilities for reaching an acceptable solution.
Macedonian top officials are set to hold additional meetings and coordination to specify the next steps.
