PRESIDENT IVANOV VISITS ISRAEL

Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov pays a visit to Israel Monday through Wednesday where he will participate at the international conference "Facing tomorrow 2009."
The meeting, which will be opened by Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, will gather President of Czech Republic Vaclav Havel, Croatian President Stipe Mesic, President of East Timor Jose Ramos-Horta, former Ukrainian President Leonid Kucma and former Spanish PM Jose Maria Aznar.
Ivanov will meet with Israeli President Shimon Peres and FM Avigdor Lieberman. He will visit and lay flowers at the Yad Vashem, Holocaust memorial centre. He is also scheduled to meet Jews originating from Macedonia.
