MACEDONIAN FILM WINS AUDIENCE AWARD

Macedonian amateur documentary film, “Somewhere up in the Mountain” based on the script of and directed by the ethnologist Anita Giorgievska, of the museum of Kumanovo, has won the first award by the audience at the 37th Kvarner Festival in Rijeka, Croatia (KRAF).

52 films from Spain, Germany, Estonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Italy were shown at the festival that took place at the Cultural Home in Rijeka on 29th October to 4th November.

Ethnologist Anita Giorgievska is very thankfully for the special support she received from the Ilinden Macedonian Society in Croatia and its leading man, Ilija Hristodulov, she said.
