PASKO KUZMAN WANTS TO RETURN KRATER FROM NEW YORK

Pasko Kuzman, Macedonia's foremost archaeologist will have some talks this week with the Macedonian ministry of internal affairs and with Interpol for organizing the possible return of a bronze krater to Macedonia. This valuable artifact was stolen by illegal diggers in the South of Macedonia and was brought to Switzerland, Great Brittain and eventually to New York where it was offered for sale.
" We will react harshly and we will go to the end, for returning the krater", "One of such kraters was discovered in the 1930's and was taken to Belgrade. Another one from Trebeniste, Ohridsko region was taken too Bulgaria and is lying in the National Museum of Sofia. So we want this one to return to Macedonia." ,Said Pasko Kuzman
MD: Again something about stolen artifacts! At last someone is doing something and let's hope he succeeds! For those who don't know what a krater is; A krater was a sort of vase, in ancient times often used to mix wine and water. This one is a bronze krater of about 1 meter high.
