LOWEST SALARIES OF EX YU COUNTRIES
National.
Citizens of Macedonia receive lowest salaries in comparison with the rest of the former Yugoslavia countries, Belgrade Politika newspaper reports. According to the publication the Macedonian salary was over EUR 200 a month and they are the lowest paid workers from all former Yugoslav republics. Then follow Montenegrins and citizens of Bosna and Hercegovina who get EUR 250 a month.
The monthly salary of Serbs is a little under EUR 300. Slovenians are with the best salaries with EUR 750. Then Croatia with EUR 610 follows. The publication in Politika adds that the computer specialists, managers, engineers and those working in financial sector are with highest salaries.
MD: This is really bad, and even worse is to know that Macedonia had it better than many of the rest former SFRJ countries and has fallen so deep now.
